One evening, I walked along the canal at our previous house (in Wiltshire), to some woods which ran between it and the River Avon. It was a very still evening, so when I got to the river, it was very calm and had no ripples. I thought I'd do a couple of sketches of it in my notebook, which I did. A few weeks or months later, I was looking for something to paint from my notebook and came across these sketches. I used one and painted this watercolour from it, then decided to turn it into a design for a greeting card.

Full description
An A6 greeting card with a blank inside. The design features a watercolour of the River Avon (in Wiltshire) on a still, late summer day, which shows the reflections of the trees and shrubs. On the back of the card is the name of the design and the Featherhill Designs logo and website address.
The original watercolour, from which this copy comes from, was painted by me last year. I did it from a sketch I took at the spot by the river in my notebook which I always try to carry around with me.
