I really enjoy making animal figures as is clear from my other listings. I've also always loved rabbits and hares. I began designing these last January, but had not made a batch until recently. They have evolved a bit, with a more fluffy tail than my original design last year. I wanted them to be a stylised piece as demonstrated by the oversized ears and tail that make them a bit more magical in my view.

Full description
These charming arctic hare decorations are meticulously crafted using needle felting techniques. Each hare features a unique, individually crafted tail that resembles a tiny pom-pom, made with wire and white flax fibre. For the ears, I create white wool felt by needle felting a flat sheet with a fabric stiffening sheet inside. The ears are then dampened, pressed, and carefully cut out. To add character, I apply black permanent ink to the tips of the ears and around the eye area. The nose and mouth are also applied with pinkish and brown permanent ink.
They have black glass eyes that are glued in place.
Due to the handmade nature of these decorations, there may be slight variations in size, but they typically measure around 8-9 cm in length. Each hare is designed with a wide loop for easy hanging on your Christmas tree or anywhere you desire.
