This clock was inspired by the raw beauty of natural wood and the elemental energy of lightning. The organic grain and irregular shape of the hardwood reflect the timeless patterns found in nature, while the emerald resin inlays echo rivers of stone or veins of minerals running through the earth. To complement this, the fractal wood burning technique was chosen to create lightning‑like patterns across the surface, symbolising the energy that flows through living things.
The result is a piece that feels both earth‑born and energy‑charged—a functional timepiece that captures the balance between calm natural beauty and the untamed power of electricity.
