This table is inspired by the meeting of land and sea. The olive wood, sourced from Crete, carries centuries of growth in its grain, each knot and swirl telling its own story. I pair this ancient material with resin, poured in ocean‑like layers of blue, green, or black, to echo the movement of water around islands. No two pours are ever the same, and the natural shape of the wood guides the design, ensuring every table is unique. Finished with modern black legs tipped in gold, the piece balances rustic nature with contemporary style. It is more than furniture — it is a fragment of history transformed into a functional artwork, designed to be a striking centrepiece in your home.
Safety information
Once fully cured, epoxy resin is non toxic and safe for everyday use in the home. The surface is durable and hygienic but it is not designed for cutting or chopping. Always use coasters or trivets for hot items as very high heat can mark the resin. Clean with a soft damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Avoid harsh cleaners, direct heat, or prolonged sunlight. This table is intended for indoor use only.
