If I find a piece of vintage embroidered linen that is past it's best, I salvage what I can from it and incorporate it into new items to be enjoyed every day.

Full description
Use this little book to keep your sewing needles neat and close at hand. I made the cover using a piece of blue hand embroidery salvaged from a vintage linen tray cloth and a beautiful floral Liberty lawn in deep blues and greens.
I machine embroidered the word "Needles" in pink thread onto cotton fabric and appliquéd this to the front. Pink ric-rac, vintage style lace and a sprinkle of buttons also decorate the front. Lined with a black and white print by Laura Ashley.
Inside are two leaves of white felt to hold needles and there is a vintage glass and gilt button with a fabric loop to fasten it closed. Gently padded with fusible fleece. Measures approx 9cm x 13.5cm when closed.
This item is one of a kind and is ready to ship. I usually send out next day using second class postal service in order to keep shipping costs as low as possible, so if you would prefer first class, please get in touch. Your item will be wrapped in new tissue paper, whilst the outer packaging might be recycled.
