Using organic casting techniques is quite exciting because you never know what you're going to end up with as you pour the molten silver over your chosen items. It can be quite challenging to come up with designs that work with your nuggets to create wearable jewellery and I like to use my imagination when making jewellery to create something that is one off. This technique allows me to do that and will be used in more of my jewellery.

I have taken a chunk of recycled sterling silver formed during an organic casting process and used it to create this pendant. the process is to pour molten silver over objects to form interesting and unique patterns, in this case I used chick peas. It hangs on an 18 inch sterling silver snake chain, if you would prefer a different necklace length please let me know for availability and price adjustment.
The pendant is a very irregular shape but measures roughly 20mm across both ways. The necklace runs through a natural hole in the middle. It is hallmarked with my stamp by the London Assay Office. It has been polished to a high standard so it shines and any rough edges are smooth for you to wear comfortably
It will make a lovely gift for yourself or another, someone who enjoys wearing something no one else has and likes natural forms.
To help you look after and care for the pendant I will provide a box and little piece of polishing cloth for you to use. I advise you to keep it in its box when not worn and don't wear when in water. If using perfumes or lotions please don't allow the solution to go on the pendant. This will keep it at its best for you.
