I love wooden jewellery and can't always find what I'd like to wear, so I started to make pieces that I wanted! I also love bright colours and flowers, so I wanted to incorporate all that with one of my favourite materials, wood. It's also very therapeutic to paint beads, and I started doing these when my little girl was a baby and toddler taking her afternoon naps! I found that painting beads was something I could paint easily whilst she was snoozing! :)

Full description
One of a kind! Wooden bead necklace. I hand painted every individual bead, then lightly varnished for durability. They are strung together with soft cord, and finished with a metal clasp. The clasp has a chain so it can be slightly extended. I have a few of these necklaces which I am adding to my shop, and each one is unique, but all are vibrant and colourful!

The necklace measures approximately 20" to each end of the clasp, and the chain adds approximately an extra 2".
As with all artwork displayed online, the colours in the image can vary slightly from one computer monitor to another due to monitor colour restrictions. However, I try to take accurate photos as best I can in a clear light.
