This quilt was inspired by the exotic bird panel images.
The blue-framed bird panels evoke open skies and peaceful mornings, each one a small window into the natural world. Between them, the windmill blocks spin like breezes through trees, adding a dynamic contrast that brings the quilt to life. It’s a dance between stillness and motion, softness and structure.
The colour palette—cool blues, soft neutrals, and subtle prints—was chosen to reflect the calm of a countryside morning, where birdsong fills the air and the wind stirs gently through the fields. The quilt’s layout is designed to feel balanced and inviting, like a quiet walk through nature stitched into cloth.
