I saved a large number of curtain sample books from landfill - a local business was about to throw them away. Some of the books had gloriously rich fabrics that just begged to be turned into Christmas Stockings.
Each stocking is unique as I only have one sample piece of each fabric - and I have used different combinations of trim, backings and linings to make each extra special.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Plum and gold, with dark red - moody tones that are on trend this year. My Arts and Crafts inspired Christmas Stocking has been made with reclaimed curtain samples and remnants of vintage velvet curtains and crunchy upholstery fabric. Traditional style, yet surprisingly modern, this stocking will appeal to adults and teenagers alike.
An elegant design with a narrow ankle and foot, so save your larger gifts for the top of the stocking.
One of a kind - each of my reclaimed textile Christmas Stockings are unique, and they each tell their own Zero Waste story.
The plum fabric is a cotton print from ILIV's Chalfont collection, and the large scale flowers and fruit design is based on traditional Arts and Crafts motifs that were in turn inspired by Jacobean crewelwork designs. The colours are bold - I particularly like the inclusion of turquoise blue and bright green that lift the deep plum and reds.
The gold turn down cuff is cotton velvet fabric reclaimed from a vintage curtain and has a lovely sheen and weight, and I chose a knobbly woven textile for the back of this stocking to add more texture and contrast. I think it's vintage upholstery fabric - I'm not sure what the material is, it feels a bit silky so it may be viscose.
Interlined with cotton wadding and fully lined with quilting cotton, and finished with a blue gosgrain ribbon - all my scrap bag.
Approximate size 44 cm by 30 cm, plus hanging ribbon.
