My inspiration is traditional and enduring Christmas motifs.

Full description
This hanging Christmas Tree decoration is created from a needle felted and embroidered piece embellished with a string of multicoloured beads and topped with a glass star bead and is strung on a waxed thread.
Designed to be viewed from all angles I have created this piece by needle felting wool fibre into a plain motif. I then use yarn, embroidery and beads to add colour, pattern and detail to the shape.
I use fibre, spun yarn, silk embroidery thread and wool felt in my pieces. The fibre and spun yarns are mainly wool but some contain elements of silk and, occasionally, a small proportion of manmade fibres.
Motif approx. 10 cm.
Hanging length approx. 25 cm.
