The acorn is cast from lead-free pewter which is perfectly safe to wear. The type of pewter used comprised 94.5% tin, 3% zinc and 2.5% antimony.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
Cast in Delft clay from a natural acorn of the holm oak, this lead-free pewter pendant with a delicate sterling silver rope chain represents humble beginnings, growth and patience. Historically, acorns were also carried as a talisman for good luck and good health.
As it is cast from a real acorn, it reflects the natural indentations from its original form, and it bears the honesty marks of hand craftsmanship. This means will not have the finish you would see on an item from a High Street jeweller, which had been designed to be the same every time and is factory-finished with industrial machines. With this pendant, you are buying something that is truly unique, and which honours the time and talent that has gone in to creating it.

The pendant will be presented in a necklace box and fully gift wrapped in a black corrugated card pillow box with a Designs from the Gatehouse gift tag. Postage by Royal Mail Tracked 48 (with signature) is included in the price.
