Full description
This atmospheric treescape of cedar trees in silhouette has been hand-painted onto a clear glass panel using specialist glass enamels. The background is applied first using a wash of pale green enamels, and the panel kiln-fired to 'set' the enamel. The trees and foreground are then painted on, and the panel fired for a second time.
The panel is semi-transparent, giving a lovely ethereal look, and therefore looks best displayed in front of a white or light coloured wall. It would make a lovely gift. The panel measures 9.5 x 15.5cm, and is presented on an oak base.
The panel will be removed from the frame for posting. It simply needs slotting in place and the screws at the back very gently tightening so that they just hold the glass in place. Do not over-tighten as you risk cracking the glass.
