Full description
The fabric for this bag was handwoven by me on a rigid heddle loom in my studio. Using two strands of British wool tweed in three colours, I wove a checkered pattern before cutting up the fabric to create a bag. The bag has been lined with a matching cotton fabric and finished off with a soft cotton webbing handle and a beautiful driftwood button from the Isle of Wight.
The bag measures 24cms long and 23cms wide. The boxed corners on the bottom of the bag has given it a wider bottom.
The handle is 100cms long, enough to wear as a crossbody bag.
