This piece was inspired by the idea of finding beauty in simplicity. Pallet blocks are often hidden away in everyday use, yet they have a solid, timeless quality that felt worth celebrating. By sanding them smooth and finishing them in a rich dark oak stain and wax, I wanted to transform something overlooked into a set of tealight holders with warmth and elegance. The staggered heights were chosen to create balance and interest, allowing the soft glow of candlelight to shine at different levels. With very few imperfections, the set reflects both the charm of reclaimed wood and the satisfaction of giving it a new life.

A handcrafted set of three tealight holders made from upcycled pallet blocks. Designed in staggered heights, they create a beautiful tiered display—perfect for adding warmth and atmosphere to a mantel, dining table, or cozy corner.
Each block is made from solid pine, carefully sanded to a smooth finish, and stained in a rich dark oak before being sealed with a matching wax. This process highlights the natural grain of the wood while giving the holders a timeless, rustic look.
Unlike many reclaimed pieces, these blocks have very few imperfections, giving the set a refined yet characterful style. A simple, sustainable, and versatile addition to any home.
