Welcome to Sophistique Crafts
Hi, I'm Sophie, the maker behind Sophistique Crafts.
I've always been happiest when creating something with my hands.
Over the years I've turned my hand to all sorts of creative projects, from interior design, sewing and upholstery to knitting, woodworking, jewellery making and home renovation. I love learning how things are made, understanding the materials involved and transforming simple ideas into beautiful, useful objects.
Sophistique Crafts grew from that lifelong passion for making.
Today, I create handcrafted home décor and accessories using natural materials including timber, fibres, shells and dried botanicals. From wall hangings and coiled baskets to wooden candle holders, decorative trays, timber vases and jewellery, every piece is designed and made by me with care and attention to detail.
My background in interior design has shaped the way I approach everything I create. I believe the most welcoming homes are not the ones that look like magazine showrooms, but the ones that reflect the personalities of the people who live in them. That's why I focus on creating pieces that bring warmth, texture, character and craftsmanship into everyday spaces.
I love the beauty of natural materials, the individuality of handmade work and the small details that make each piece unique. Whether I'm working with wood, fibre, fabric or shells, my goal is always the same: to create something thoughtful, lasting and full of character.
