Full description
This long handled tote bag and purse set is made using an indigo blue denim fabric together with a Liberty paisley print in blues, greens and yellows.
The main fabric is backed with lightweight fusible quilter's fleece to give it a little body and topstitched in navy thread to create a quilted effect. To the front of the bag is a patch pocket which fastens with a navy blue zip, finished with a fabric tab, and is lined with a vintage Laura Ashley print .
Inside, the top is faced with the outer fabric and then lined with a blue/grey cotton. There's a keyring loop inside ready for the purse or for keys.
The bottom of the bag is boxed and is lightly stiffened at the base. Across the top measures about 37cm, across the base measures 26cm and it's about 27cm tall. The loops of the two neatly topstitched handles measure about 58cm, giving a drop of about 27cm.
The matching purse measures about 13cm x 9cm, and is made with the paisley fabric. Lined to match the lining of the bag pocket. The outer was backed with fusible fleece and there are three lines of wave stitch in ivory thread across each side, matching the pocket of the bag. It closes with a navy zip across the top and there is a key ring loop in one side seam so that it can be clipped inside the bag using the lobster clip included.
This item is ready to ship. Item will be wrapped in new tissue paper, while I will use recycled outer packaging if possible.
