Spun Cotton is a vintage folk craft technique originating in Germany in the mid 19th century. It takes several days to layer and shape the cotton over a wire armature and then let the piece dry naturally. The spun cotton is then hand painted. The art is slow and fiddly but the outcome is rewardingly beautiful.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
Handmade miniature art doll with glass eyes. This doll has been slowly made using wire armature which allows the head to swivel and arms and legs to be bent and posed for display. This witch doll is hand painted with black nails and green skin. Witch wears matching tweed wool headscarf and handbag, both hand sewn and adorned with upcycled beads. The leggings are hand sewn with painted stripes, the cardigan has raw edging and includes an upcycled bead closure. The dress has a floral pumpkin print with pretty trim hand sewn to the bottom. With wears bead earrings and her hand dyed wool locks hair is decorated with faux pearl beads. The entire outfit is sewn into place. Witch can be displayed sitting, standing if leaning and on a hanger if requested. Witch measures roughly 19.5cm tall. This is for decorative purposes only and not a toy. Witch is sent in recycled or recyclable packaging.
