This piece was inspired by the idea of giving new life to what was once discarded. Red cedar pallets, often overlooked, carry their own history in every knot and grain. By transforming them into tealight holders, I wanted to celebrate the beauty of reclaimed wood while creating something functional and warm for the home.
The natural reddish hues of cedar and the textures from its previous life evoke rustic charm and a sense of story—reminding us that even the simplest materials can shine when crafted with care. Each holder is a small tribute to sustainability, craftsmanship, and the quiet elegance of natural wood.
