I love the idea of incorporating my art with up-cycled vintage items and finding different ways of framing paintings.
Safety information
The original clock case has been thoroughly cleaned by me. All the contents are secured in place using neutral pH adhesive, acid-free framers tape and mouldable adhesive as used by model makers. The glass is secured in place with mouldable adhesive. Due to the glass I would not recommend this item for s child's room.

Original 'Prickly Picnic' mixed media art assemblage
Here we find the harvest mouse hiding in the brambles, enjoying the fruits of autumn while they last.
This is my fourth venture into creating these little watercolour dioramas using vintage clock cases as frames. They are extremely time consuming, fiddly, frustrating, head-mangling puzzles that I absolutely love creating. For this little clock, the mouse and his surroundings under the glass are hand painted and incorporate three different layers to achieve the required 3D effect. The blackberries on the clock case are also original artwork - this has been decoupaged onto the front of the case and has been covered with a protective layer of acrylic glaze.
