The inspiration for this piece comes from the warmth and character found in reclaimed wood. Using upcycled fence posts, I wanted to highlight the natural golden yellow tones of the timber, along with its subtle scars and textures that tell the story of its previous life. By creating two blocks of differing heights, the design introduces rhythm and visual interest, while the tealights add a gentle, inviting glow. This piece celebrates sustainability and the beauty of simple, functional design that brings warmth and personality to any space.
