The inspiration for this piece came from the idea of capturing love and warmth in a form that feels both natural and timeless. By using reclaimed pallet wood, I wanted to give new life to a material that carries its own history, with every scar and mark telling a story of where it once belonged. Shaped into a heart, the design symbolises connection, care, and simplicity. The single opening for dried flowers adds a delicate touch of nature, turning the piece into a celebration of love, sustainability, and the beauty found in imperfection.

Full description
The inspiration for this set came from the idea of honoring both nature and history in a single piece. By shaping reclaimed wood into simple, circular forms, I wanted to create a sense of balance and continuity, while allowing the material’s natural grain and imperfections to speak for themselves. The contrasting finishes—ebony, dark oak, and white—reflect the interplay of depth, warmth, and purity, giving each vase its own identity while still belonging to the set. The small scars left in the wood are not flaws but reminders of its previous life, celebrated as part of the design. Paired with dried flowers, the vases embody a quiet beauty that is both modern and timeless, rooted in sustainability and story.
