It's a wrap folks! I'm now on my holidays. Many many thanks to everyone who has supported my daft little enterprise this year. Have a brilliant Christmas and I look forward to bashing more spoons for you in 2026.
HOLIDAY DATES: Please note the shop will now be CLOSED until Fri 2 Jan inclusive. I may be away from my computer so please be patient if it takes me longer than usual to answer messages. If you've ordered recently, rest assured that all packages have been despatched by first class post.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

A vintage nickel silver spoon with a round bowl and a short handle, ideal for ice cream or cereal. I've hand stamped it with OLD SKOOL CHEAPSKATE & A BIT CRAP - the last phrase was added because I made a booboo and stamped a Q as the very first letter by mistake. I then tried overstamping it with the correct O and just made it look worse. But not being one to waste a spoon I carried on regardless in hopes that it might make someone else smile too. So here it is in all its slightly crap glory, consigned to the bargain bin where everything's been a fiver since I opened the shop and will continue to be a fiver until the cost of a postage stamp outstrips it. Also, I always combine all the postage no matter how many bargains fall into your basket. Just saying.
Anyway this spoon is approx. 13.5cm long, that's about the length of a teaspoon, and it's 'Resilco' nickel silver alloy from probably the 1940s. The stamping dies I used are probably 1940s as well. It would make a perfect token gift for any cheapskate you know, or an inexpensive contribution to a budget Secret Santa perhaps.
I have lots more spoons and plenty more lettering in different sizes and styles - so if you'd like to commission your own gift spoon, drop me a message and I'll see what I can do!
