Full description
I’ve handmade these organic silver earrings by placing raw sapphire nuggets into molten recycled sterling silver, which creates a lovely natural shape. I use offcuts of silver from my other jewellery so they’re also an eco-conscious choice.
No two pairs will ever be identical. Each sapphire has its own unique shape and the molten silver always forms differently, which makes every pair truly one of a kind. I do, however, carefully match them in size so they sit beautifully as a pair. The studs are around 6–9 mm in diameter, making them simple, elegant earrings you can wear every day.
Sapphire is the September birthstone, so they’d make a wonderful gift for someone with a September birthday – or just a treat for yourself. They come gift wrapped in one of my Thistledown Wishes boxes, ready for giving. A matching necklace is also available.
