Amber is the name for preserved resin from trees over 30 million years old.
It comes in various shades of yellow, orange and brown, is translucent, and frequently contains equally ancient inclusions.
It has been used in jewellery for thousands of years, but is a relatively soft substance and should be treated with care to avoid scratches.
Tiger's Eye (also called Tiger's-Eye, Tiger Eye, Tigers Eye or Tiger Iron) is a popular member of the Quartz family that is usually amber to golden-brown, with a silky lustre, and displays 'chatoyancy', or 'cat's eye'- the characteristic vertical flash when it catches the light.
In ancient Egypt, the stone was believed to be all-seeing, and was used for the eyes of deities.
Roman soldiers wore it in battle in the belief it would give them the courage and strength of a tiger.
It is still regarded as a stone of courage, strength and vitality.

Full description
This pretty bracelet is in Autumn colours of tawny, golden brown and gold, featuring five 11x4mm Amber nuggets separated by a pair of 4mm Tiger Eye beads, a 4mm Austrian 'topaz' crystal bicone and tiny 1.8mm gold vermeil spacers.
The bracelet fastens with a sweet little golden, heart shaped toggle clasp which is nickel and lead free.
Handmade in my home workshop here in beautiful Devon in the UK, this would make a lovely birthday or anniversary present, thank you gift or a treat for yourself.
This bracelet measures approximately 7 inches (18cm).
Your bracelet will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
