As a kid I loved exploring the rock pools around Rhosneigr in Anglesey and then as I grew older and explored the North East I was spellbound by the rock pools by St Mary’s Lighthouse. I love the ribbon frills of seaweed that glint in the evening sun. Rockpools are such magical places, tiny worlds bursting with life and beauty, ever changing and infinitely diverse. I wanted to create a miniature rockpool that someone could stare into and lose themselves whenever they wanted to.

Full description
This ring took so many different incarnations before it finally found its form. Hand forged from sterling silver every part of this piece holds a bit of my soul. I’ve thought about it for so many hours wondering how it would eventually turn out!
I eventually decided to fashion a chunky, ocean textured band to balance out the delicate seaweed inspired bezel which holds the most incredible bi coloured kyanite. The gemstone is all the colours of water and shimmers as you move. It’s surrounded by tiny silver pebbles which catch the light. A truly magical piece of jewellery that I loved making.
