Handmade jewellery inspired by adventure and wonder

Hi,
I’m Nicky and I’m the maker behind From Sea to Star. I live on the North West coast of England next to a park inhabited by squirrels, birds and hedgehogs who have made a home too in our little yarden. In my workshop by the beach I make jewellery inspired by the all things I love.
So what do I love?
Well I guess the answer to that is this world and the animals, insects, plants, trees, fungi and everything else that make it so beautiful.
I am constantly amazed by the wonder of this universe we are lucky enough to live in with its endlessly changing skies and seas . I love the forests and mountains of the Lake District, Scotland and Snowdonia and my jewellery often tells the story of hikes, walks or runs I’ve enjoyed in them.
I’m interested in the stories behind gemstones and the meanings attached to them and I often incorporate that into my pieces. Everything on this planet has its own vibration and I find that incredibly meaningful.
My jewellery shows the work of my hands and the love that’s gone into making every last piece. I think it’s bloody incredible that someone could find joy from something I make.
