I have tried to put a more natural feel to this picture. Looking at the gentle curves of a silver birch and the way they criss-cross with each other. Keeping my colour scheme vibrant but at the same time adding cream to calm it down a bit.

Full description
'Autumn Silver Birch' is 100% Bullseye glass. Each section has been meticulously created by hand.
This is a vibrant eye-catching picture and is completely unique and original.
'Autumn Silver Birch' started as a transparent sheet of bullseye glass. This is a picture of three layers. The first row of trees is painted on the reverse of the glass using glassline liquid. The second layer of trees is painted on the front of the glass, and finally the foreground trees are cut from white glass sheet and layered over the front of the composition. The Silver Birch trees, foliage and foreground were created by carefully layering glass frit, glassline and fine chips of coloured glass. The layering of these areas helps to give the overall picture a feeling of three-dimension. The final stage was to fire the picture in a kiln for approximately 13 hours. This firing melts and fuses the glass into one piece.
This picture was made for love rather than money. The whole procedure took many hours of focus and concentration.
This is my passion.
