I am a mathematician who likes playing with beads, and so I thought it would be fun to try making earrings that worked using powers of 2; as you go down, the number of bugle beads doubles at each level. I found a very neat method of construction in which (apart from finishing off the ends) the thread passes exactly twice through each bugle bead, once in each direction. I was delighted with the resulting fractal effect, which has been likened to coral.
Safety information
All the earwires I use are certified nickel-safe, lead-safe, and cadmium-safe. However, these are large earrings, and so they are not recommended for anyone under the age of 16.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Additional terms
You can cancel the order and get a refund from the maker within seven days after receipt of the item, provided it has not been detached from its card. Faulty items can be returned within six months of payment being made. However, custom orders are not eligible for return unless the item is faulty.

Full description
Coral-like branching earrings which were featured on the front cover of Spoilt Rotten Beads' online beading magazine (issue 21, June 2025). Normally every pair is unique, but I am happy to do custom orders, including matching sets for your bridesmaids to complement their outfits. I can also do clips in either gold or silver finish. The earwires are all nickel-safe, lead-safe, and cadmium-safe.
