I'm hugely passionate about the environment and want my products to be too! While I can't pretend I'm perfect I'm doing my best and improving all the time so here are the details:
I use viscose embroidery thread (sadly polyester is the norm) viscose / rayon is made from plant cellulose and is biodegradable. It also gives a more luxurious finish, so, win win!
The felt used is a mix of wool and viscose.
All ribbons are from my stash beautiful pieces I've collected over the years - I now only collect eco friendly items but am using up the not so good ones.
The stuffing for the decorations is finely chopped scrap fabric so while it is a mix of materials, you can be sure its keeping fabrics out of landfill.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
A lovely handmade folk bird decoration. Perfect festive decoration for hanging on the Christmas tree or just a lovely decorative touch to make your home more beautiful. It also makes a wonderful gift for that friend who has everything (they have great taste too of course!)
This decoration is made by me from start to finish: Starting with sketches and ideas I created the original modern folk artwork. I then scan it onto my computer where I create a digital embroidery design of it. I can then load this onto my embroidery machine and stitch it out (after many many tests and edits to make sure it comes out just right!) Once the machine is finished, I cut it out and hand sew a felt backing and ribbon onto it, stuffed with recycled fabric scraps, to give it a lovely squish.
