This is a picture created quite early in my eperimentation when I had thoughts that all my work would stem from photographs that I adapted and edited to create something new. A few photo's made the cut but ultimately my journey took me in to creating my own work.
This remains one of my favourites.

Full description
I found this old canoe on the shores of the Red Sea just north of Marsa Alam in Egypt back in 2017. Until a few years previously it was still being used as a net fishing boat by locals but as hotels moved in to the area, tourism had taken over from fishing and the canoe was no longer required but kept as a momento of times gone by.
This is a 40 x 60cm rolled canvas print without a frame or hanger.
The 300dpi images are printed on to 400gsm canvas ensuring an excellent quality of print on a high quality canvas.
