Due to increased postage and form filling I will only post items to the UK mainland but I will send patterns anywhere worldwide.

I just wanted to make something slowly and really pretty. I loved the colours of the yarn and felt it deserved to be lined so I went searching through my fabrics and decided that the soft feel of a vintage tablecloth which had been owned by my grandmother just fitted perfectly. I really enjoyed making this and hope you would love it too.

Full description
I designed and carefully crocheted this beautiful tote bag in 100% cotton. There are 13 granny squares in shades of cream, pink, lilac and green with a 12 petalled flower in dark pink and deep violet, in the centre of each one. I then handstitched in a lining made from a white vintage tablecloth which once belonged to my grandmother. I wanted to create handles which wouldn't cut into the hands so made them wide and attached them to the bag with crochet covered rings. It is the only one I made and I loved every minute of making it. I was very pleased with the way it turned out and hope that you think so too.
It is fully washable in the washing machine but personally, because of all the work and love that has gone into making it, I think it deserves to be carefully washed by hand.
It measures 15ins x15ins (38cmx38cm) and the handles are approximately 24 ins (61 cm) making it suitable for wearing over the shoulder or the arm.
I will usually post your bag to you within 24 hours of your payment but it may be a little longer if there is a bank holiday.
