Someone asked me for a brooch that could explain how their invisible disability was making them feel even when they didn’t want to talk about it

Full description

A round statement brooch in pale peach wool felt with the word ‘meh’ embroidered in fuchsia pink with a sunflower and leaves embroidered below. This has been attached to a thick piece of wool felt in my signature style using lavender coloured cotton thread, so the brooch is satisfyingly sturdy. It’s a metal brooch back attached securely to the back.

The word ‘meh’ can mean whatever you want it to mean. My little ‘n’ round brooches can be used as disability or mental health awareness jewellery, sending a signal to those you need support from while still being pretty and fun. Maybe you need a way to communicate how you feel to family or colleagues without having to explain everything or perhaps it’s just for fun or a slightly sarcastic gift.

Measures approx.

3cm
