I used to pull out my hair and bite my fingernails because I just had to do something with my hands and my overstimulated mind. This is true for those with autism, ADHD, anxiety and other sensory processing disorders. I realised nothing existed that was solely for sensory processing so I made it myself. Some are textured so they feel rough on your fingers and can help ground and focus you during a panic attack, some are smooth and soft and exist solely to look at and admire and touch when needed. Finally there’s something for us!
