How cute is this bright cheerful picture of a little duckling carrying its rainbow petalled parasol against the sun and rain!
Delicately free hand embroidered onto a double layer of a deep yellow 100% cotton fabric with beautiful DCM threads. Gorgeous yellows for the duckling and rainbow colours for the umbrella, both going through several colour changes.
The fabric has then been mounted behind a thin Perspex sheet for protection (Please note any marks are camera glare/reflectionfrom this as I forgot to take photos first sorry) into a tri-fold, rectangular framed card.
Inside, the stitches are hidden by the trifold and it is left blank for your own message.
The card is heavy and the picture would look perfect framed afterwards as a lasting keepsake, perhaps for the nursery wall or to brighten any area.
The card measures 11.5 x 9 cms
