Unique, sometimes quirky, embroidered or painted designs on bags, cushions, hoops, cards and hanging ornaments

Hello! I’m Chrissy and welcome to Sewserendipitycrafts.

I self taught embroidery as a hobby during lockdown while I was shielding due to chronic illness and now just love to craft. It brings me mindfulness and joy. As do my hubby and my cats Silber and Ziva who I live with in the not so sunny North West.

I mainly work on cotton or canvas, card or felt, choosing sustainable, organic materials where possible. Sometimes I will recycle clothing fabric as a basis for my embroidery too. I hand draw patterns or just go with the flow and sew randomly as I go along and let the magic happen.

Some pieces are more traditional, others modern and quirky, but all are original. While I mainly sew for my own pleasure and for gifting, I find I have a surplus and hope you can find something in my new shop that will also bring you smiles and happiness.
