This beautifully understated card features an abstract, embroidered illustration of a mother cradling her baby, a timeless symbol of love, connection, and care.
It is completely unique, making it a deeply meaningful card for celebrating the birth of a new baby, honouring motherhood, or gifting to your own mother for any occasion.
The design is delicately hand embroidered onto pastel pink raw linen using contrasting DMC thread that softly shifts through subtle colour changes, adding depth and quiet movement to the piece.
The embroidered fabric is mounted behind a thin sheet of Perspex for protection and set into a tri-fold card with a circular aperture frame. A pearlescent insert neatly conceals the reverse of the stitching.
Substantial and weighty in feel, this card is designed to last. The embroidered artwork can be displayed as a keepsake, either within the card itself or framed into something larger with an optional pocket frame.
As well as celebrating new life, this card can also be given as a thoughtful, lasting keepsake for a mother navigating the sadness of baby loss — a quiet, heartfelt way to honour love that remains.
