Full description
Professionally printed art print of my original mixed media illustration. It is printed on 350gsm recycled paper in UK. After printing, I re-traced the golden details of the wheat and the centre of the poppies.
This mixed media art was inspired by our summer walks through the wheat fields of Warden Hills; often we could see elegant swifts darting in the blue sky. On the edge of the fields, beautiful poppies were blooming. and I used their red petals to frame the swifts' flight. In folklore, poppies are symbols of dreaming, love fertility and wealth. With its bright, summery colours, this print will make a great gift for someone who struggles during the dark half of the year.
The print size is 21cm by 21cm and is sold without mount, without frame but will fit readily available box frames.
It is shipped in a biodegradable sleeve packed in an A4 Please Do Not Bend Envelope stamped with my design.
