Meet Opal, a cute bear with a love for all things elegant and classical. Despite her sweet and innocent looks, she tries her very hardest to look like a mature and elegant lady, getting into classical music and looking for antiques, although she is quite bad at identifying them!
Opal is a handsewn artist teddy, made with lots of love and care. Because of the materials she is made of, she is NOT suitable for children. She is a collector's item and is for display uses.
She is made from a lovely beige mohair and very dark brown, almost black, viscose. The beige mohair has a brown undertone, giving her a really unique and warm look to her and adds to her elegant looks.
She is stuffed with a mix of sawdust for her arms, head and legs and polyfill to give her a nice squishy belly.
Since she has disc joints in her head, arms and legs, she can do lots of different poses!
Opal's face has been tinted with chalk pastels to give her depth and character, as well as my usual red rosy cheeks! She has wonderful black English glass eyes, giving her a glossy lifelike expression.
On her belly there is a hand embroidered cotton patch with a musical note design, adding yet another lovely detail to her character!
!!! Not intended for children, she is a collectors toy. Please protect her from direct sunlight. Only the bear is for sale, not any of the props or other items !!!
As with all my other toys, she will come beautiful packaged in a box with a hand drawn illustration
