Full description
A one of a kind 'cracked' or 'shattred' effect wax seal necklace, made from the cast of an antique 18thC wax seal impression from Alex's beloved collection. It hangs from a Fleur-de-lis design bail and is made in recycled sterling silver and has been oxidised and rubbed back, enhancing the highlights for an antique look.
The high quality 1.8mm oval Belcher (Rolo) chain has been hand assembled and fully soldered in our studio with spear-shaped tag detailing and 8mm trigger clasp. It measures 18" in length (approximately). Please refer to photos for size comparison of pendant.
This piece has been assayed and hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office with a traditional full Scottish/UK hallmark for 925 Sterling silver. It is stamped with Alex's unique makers mark which is recorded in the Edinburgh Assay Office historic hallmarking archive.
