Crackle Quartz is white Quartz that has been heat-treated then water-cooled to produce a network of tiny fractures.
The result is a beautifully sparkly stone that looks like crushed ice.
It combines beautifully with sterling silver and sparkly crystal, giving a very elegant look.

Beautiful, sparkly earrings in silver and white.
Each earring is made from an 8mm cracked Quartz bead, 6mm 'silver shade', 5mm clear crystal, and 4mm crystal ABx2 quality Austrian bicones, a 3mm sterling silver 'stardust' and 2.5mm sterling silver round.
Crackle Quartz has a network of tiny fractures within the stone, giving it the appearance of crushed ice.
The aurora borealis coating on the topmost crystal gives a flash of rainbow colour when it catches the light.
The beads are threaded onto sterling silver pins and hang from sterling silver ear-wires.
Handmade in my home workshop here in beautiful Devon in the UK, these would make a lovely wedding accessory, gift for a bridesmaid, anniversary or birthday, or a sparkly treat for yourself.
These earrings measure approximately 1.5 inches (3.5 cm).
Your earrings will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
