Pieces over the legal weight requirement are sent to an official UK Assay Office for full hallmarking.
Pieces below the statutory weight are exempt from compulsory hallmarking. Every piece of jewellery I create is crafted from the exact same premium, ethically sourced recycled sterling silver, regardless of whether it meets the mandatory weight limit for a physical stamp. When possible and I recycle undamaged packaging to reduce waste and costs.

Full description
Octopus Oyster Shell Decoupage - Large Deep Trinket Dish - 11cm in length and approx 3.5-4cm depth. Each shell is hand made therefore the size may vary from slightly smaller to slightly bigger but all roughly 10 - 12cm in length and depth is between 3.5 - 4.5.
These Pembrokeshire Oyster Shells have been cleaned, painted and decoupaged with an Octopus and shells. I have used quality gold metallic paint to give them the perfect finish. Once this process is finished and the shell is completely dry I have applied resin to the inner shell which gives a beautiful shine. Perfect for your rings or trinkets in the bathroom. Your shell will be securely packaged in a gift box and despatched to start its new journey in life.
These shells should not be submerged in water. A damp cloth to wipe the inside will keep this shell vibrant for many years to come.
