wanted to breathe new life into a once plain jute bag I received when purchasing a book by independent artist Cathy Phelan-Watkins. My goal was to upcycle this into something unique, playful, and bohemian, something that carries both a story and a purpose.

This one-of-a-kind boho-inspired bag is crafted from jute, a natural plant-based fibre, and elevated with my own handcrafted crochet design. I created the intricate crochet circles and tassel from 100% organic cotton, then carefully hand-stitched them onto the bag to transform it from a simple plain tote into a bespoke accessory you can carry every day.
The result is a sustainable, stylish piece that’s perfect for everyday use, beach trips, market days, or adding a touch of boho flair to any outfit.
