Making small batch and one of a kind fused glass treasures on the north coast of Ireland.
In glass fusing there is always a degree of leftover bits and pieces, so I thought of an item I could make to utilise this glass which also falls into my theme and love of all things seaside!
Handmade mould which can be reused, so if you would like your very own starfish in a different colour palette, please get in touch

Full description
An unusual and quirky piece of fused glass art in the form of a decorative starfish.
Made using pieces of glass from other projects, nothing goes to waste in my home studio. placed into a handmade mould and fired in the kiln.
Cleaned and any sharp edges ground away before fire polishing in the kiln again to make smooth and shiny.
A final firing with some additional glass granules for texture and interest.
A white rope cord has been added for hanging, and comes complete in a luxury gift box.
A perfect decorative item for your bathroom, nautical themed home, holiday home or just about anywhere.
