Inspiration... Red and black have featured a lot in past theatrical creations. Red, in particular, is a colour I love. A lot of the 'black' is actually a dark grey/silver - beautiful fabric. Big hair? Boots? A dramatic goth look? What's not to love here? I think I enjoy working with these colours and in this style. Maybe more to come!

OOAK Art Doll. Handmade and unique. 17” / 45cm
If I could have any hair in the world, it would be like this - big, bouncy and wild. I'd also be happy to dress in red and black (plus dark grey/silver)! I think I rather like this one... As an avatar, my profile pic of a needle-felted 'mature' woman is more like it for me, but maybe not for you?
There's a gothic vibe to this doll. Big boots, wild hair, lots of shiny bling and a dramatic look.
Various fabrics and trim are used, plus small amounts of lace, beads, and jewellery. The hair is a chunky acrylic yarn. I use paints, varnish and lots of glue.
The doll is made with button-jointed hips and shoulders, allowing for some movement for sitting and moving the arms. The knees and elbows are also designed to give a small amount of movement.

Note: This is not a toy and shouldn't be given to children to play with. You cannot take it apart or brush the hair.
