In Bali, where I used to have a jewellery school, girls can get married quite early, but before they do they go through many coming of age ceremonies where they wear ornate jewellery. When they get to the Big Day, the wedding crowns or perhiasan kepala (head jewellery) are covered in granualtion and pearls. We have recycled some of the pearls into these pieces. You will see little holes at the back of the pearl, where they were placed on the headdresses.

I love a hammered look to some of my pieces because it gives them a bit of depth and dimension. This origami necklace is made so the heart is slightly folded upwards, but sits nicely on the chest. It is adjustable to 3 sizes so wear it high or low.
Made from: sterling silver 925 and plated in 18kt gold
Size: 46 / 48 & 50cms with jump rings inbetween so you can change the length to go with your outfits.
