Beatrix Potter characters are a favourite with many people so I was over the moon when pattern designer Claire Garland of Dotpebblesknits created a book of 12 of the most well known characters. Benjamin is my personal favourite but I will be making some of the other characters in the coming months.

Full description
Benjamin Bunny is the second most loved character of Beatrix Potter and best friend of Peter Rabbit.
Little Benji is smaller than previous and measures just 10" (25cm) from his green clogs to the tip of his pointy ears. He holds a juicy onion (stolen from Mr McGregor's garden of course) and a spotted handkerchief. He is knitted in alpaca and mohair yarn and all his clothes and accessories are handsewn in wool felt.
His Tam o' Shanter is not removable. His right paw is stitched to hold his red hanky if you wish to be able to remove his jacket please ask me to release the paw.
My Benjamin is based on a design by Claire Garland a designer who specialises on creating wonderful realistic animals.
