I'm inspired by a lot of Russian art, particularly Levitan. This is me trying to think like him. Trying to capture the silence and the cold.

Full description
For those who know it, this is the nature reserve that runs in parallel to the Thames just past Fawley Court. The area is low lying and often floods in winter. Here the water has frozen and the end of the day approaches. It is very quiet and still.
This is an original painting, it is not a print. It is painted on A4 (210mm x 297mm) 300gm Winsor and Newton acrylic canvas textured paper. There is a 30mm border around the painting so the actual picture size is 150mm x 237mm. It is supplied unframed.
