10am - 1pm.
These "pay as you go" classes run in my studio on Wednesday mornings, starting August 20th 2025.
Discover the fun of crochet in my lovely studio in Fife. Have a giggle, a cuppa and nice wee biscuit whilst you master chaining, slip stitches, magic rings, double and treble crochet stitches and explore texture and pattern with vibrant yarns.
Beginners will start with chaining and simple stitch formations, whilst all crocheters will be introduced to new skills over time, building up confidence and your hooky knowledge.
Complete beginners are very welcome. You'll have lots of encouragement and enthusiasm from the rest of the group. Each participant is at a different stage, so don't be put off if you've never held a crochet hook before.
If the idea of a group class is daunting, you may find a "foundation" course a good way to start - I offer a 2.5 hour Introduction to Crochet session for 1 to 2 people, which can be booked through my shop. If a class isn't listed, please get in touch and I will schedule one in for you if I can.
Yarn is provided in your class fee to start with. As we progress, we'll move onto more personal projects that will need you to purchase your own yarn (eg a scarf).
What do I need to bring?
Mixed size set of crochet hooks, or you can add a set of hooks to your order
Reading glasses if required
