Welcome to the Wonky Towers shop. In our shop you will find a variety of household items and gifts, mostly with an Eco-focus - things that can be used and reused without costing the planet or emptying your wallet. We use up scraps, repurpose materials and prioritise natural new materials. We love colour and our products are attractive, environmentally friendly and useful. We don’t want to be preachy - just to make things that are a pleasure to use.
If you spot something you’d like in a different colour combination or other feature, drop us a message and ask - many things are possible.
Postage: generally we only post to the UK. EU regulations prohibit us from posting to Europe and Northern Ireland. If you wish to order from other parts of the world we will consider this on a case-by-case basis. Our preference to have the delivery tracked will mean the cost may be prohibitive.

Finding that dips and similar foods sometimes don’t have a lid - just a removable film, I needed a cover in the right size, to keep food fresh.

We were missing a useful size of bowl cover in our kitchen and so I made some! This size is ideal to fit on small pots of houmous and other plastic supermarket pots that come just covered with a film. If there is no clip-on lid, it’s difficult to keep the food fresh once the film has been removed, without resorting to foil or cling film.
This useful pair of pot covers are made from pretty floral fabrics. One is bright pink decorated with leaf images. The other has a ditsy floral print on a cream background. They are lined with pink PUL - a fabric that is laminated with a small amount of plastic. It is safe to be in contact with food, helps to keep it fresh but reduces the need for single-use plastics. An elasticated rim keeps the covers securely in place on your chosen dish or pot. They are washable by hand or machine, making them a hygienic option but often just a wipe with a cloth is enough. I find they are much easier to use than beeswax wraps.
These covers will fit bowls and pots of approximately 9 to 11cm in diameter and the elastic means they will adapt to different shapes. Our ‘small’ bowl covers are perfect and we sell them as part of a multi-size set or as a set of 2 the same size.
