Full description
This hand crochet necklace uses vibrant sari ribbon, a luxurious variegated yarn with lots of gold or silver sparkle. After individual strands have been crocheted, they are braided together and finished with a melon bead in soft gold colour at each end. Another of the same beads provides length adjustment to your preference.
A special feature of this necklace is its lightness - it is silky, soft and wispy, and at only 6g (less than a quarter ounce!) you can make a stylish statement without feeling weighed down. No metal clasp, it simply slips over the head and then can be adjusted for length by sliding the melon bead. It is a striking evening wear piece but looks great too worn over a simple sweater.
A choice of 4 colours for the necklace, with the option to add a personal alphabet charm on a pretty silvertone scarf bail. If you would like this, please be sure to enter your choice of letter when checking out. PLEASE NOTE - initial charms cannot be added after the necklace has been completed, nor can they be removed.
Maximum overall length is about 82cm or 32 inches - it adjusts right up to a choker length or anywhere in between. To resize, simply hold the necklace strands taut and slide the adjuster bead gently to where you want it, then release the strands and it will grip in place.
Your necklace will arrive presented on a printed card inside a clear cellophane envelope - perfect for gifting.
